Piano for Paderewski and Fibiger's piano

We would like to invite you to the last two meetings of the "Polish Piano: Art - Science - Craft" project. The protagonist of the first meeting will be a Kerntopf piano from 1894, designed especially for Ignacy Jan Paderewski, and during the last meeting we will focus on Arnold Fibiger pianos, especially the world's only 240 model from 1935.

The meetings will be held:

🎹 November 30 - Kerntopf piano (Warsaw, 1894) as part of the lecture "In the splendor of invention, or local virtuosos and piano makers in the European context."

🎹 December 1 - Arnold Fibiger model 240 piano (Kalisz, 1935) as part of the lecture "Kalisz center vs. periphery of romantic pianism".

👉The Kerntopf piano is from the collection of Pracownia Pianin i Fortepianów Andrzej Włodarczyk, and the Arnold Fibiger piano is from Kowalczyk Piano.

🎼 The meeting will begin at 4 pm at the Komoda Club Residence in Kalisz, and will be hosted by Marek Bracha & Michal Brulinski.

🆓 Admission is free!
